Bray Jazz Festival is Ireland's leading contemporary jazz and improvised music festival to be held within the Greater Dublin Area, each year.  2017 will be our 18th year.

This year's festival will feature a host of great shows, including performances by Benin-born and US-based guitarist Lionel Loueke, by one of Sweden's most exciting young stars Malin Wättring , and by the irrepressible and much acclaimed British big band, Beats & Pieces.   We return for a second year to the wonderful church concert venue at The Well on Main St with performances by Danish trio The Firebirds, Swiss quintet Pilgrim, Ireland's very own Roamer, and the revered Australian cult trio The Necks.  A free to attend educational workshop with 'The Firebirds' will also be held (Friday 28th, 4pm).

Elsewhere, our popular early evening recitals at Bray Town Hall will present a series of captivating performances, with artists from Norway, India and Estonia featuring, while there will be lots happening at The Harbour Bar throughout the weekend, and a lots of other shows on the Wicklow Wolf Jazz Trail.
